If it’s summer, then it must be time for the Dave Matthews Band to hit the road. The group announced the dates for its extensive summer 2018 outing on Tuesday (Jan. 16), which will kick off with a show on May 18 at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion in Woodlands, Texas, and keep the guys on the road through a Sept. 10 gig at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. 

In even better news, according to a press release, the group is putting the finishing touches on their ninth studio album, the follow-up to 2012’s Away From the World. No other information was available on the title of the album or a release date at press time. An online ticket presale for members of the DMB Warehouse Fan Association is underway now here

All online ticket orders for the summer tour purchased by May 17 will include a choice of CD or digital download of the new album. General public on sale for the tour will start on Feb. 2, at 10 a.m. local time.
