UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. — Nebraska quarterback Tanner Lee is on the field warming up and expected to make his 11th straight start of the season against Penn State this afternoon.
Lee was in the concussion protocol all week after taking a hit last weekend at Minnesota, but Riley said Friday evening the junior transfer from Tulane would again begin the game despite backup and redshirt freshman Patrick O’Brien taking all the practice snaps early in the week.
Also on the injury front, junior safety Aaron Williams (neck) is on the Beaver Stadium grass warming up and should play. The same is true for true freshman running back Jaylin Bradley (ankle), sophomore cornerback Eric Lee (concussion) and junior holder Zack Darlington (illness).
All are returning after missing multiple games.
