EARLIER, WHEN WE FIRST GOT DOWN HERE AROUND 2:00, THERE WAS A LOT OF WATER ON HIGHWAY 90. THAT WATER HAS RECEDED. WE HAVE NOT SEEN MORE WATER ON THE ROADWAY. A LO OF PEOPLE ARE TAKING CARS AND BELONGINGS FROM THIS AREA. A LOT OF CARS ARE ON HIGHWAY 90. A LOT OF PEOPLE MAKING SURE THEIR BELONGINGS, CARS, AND TRUCKS DO NOT GET FLOODED OUT. WE SAW A RESIDENTS LEAVING WITH RVS. THEY HAVE R BECAUSE THEY ARE USED TO THIS, THE WATER GETTING HIGH AND COMING OVER TO THE STREET SIDE OF THESE NEIGHBORHOODS AND FLOODING THE STREETS SO THAT THEY HAVE TO MOVE. A LOT OF THEM HAVE RVS TO GET OUT OF TOWN. A LOT OF THEM HEEDING THE EVACUATION WARNING AND GETTING OUT. A LOT OF PEOPLE WE SPOKE TO ON THIS SIDE OF THE STREET ARE EXPECTING THE WATER TO GET HIGH AGAIN TOMORROW MORNING. A LOT OF THEM SAY THAT’S WHEN THEY WILL MAKE THE DECISION TO STAY OR LEAVE.
